Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Dewy ("Dewy," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Dewy mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By using Dewy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Dewy uses AI to analyze photos of your skin and generate a personalized Skin Map, skin score, photo-by-photo findings, and a custom skincare routine, including ingredient guidance and lymphatic drainage. The Service provides cosmetic skincare guidance only.

2. Not medical advice

Dewy is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Its analysis and recommendations are cosmetic in nature and are not a substitute for professional care. For any medical concern — including persistent, severe, or changing skin conditions — consult a qualified dermatologist or healthcare provider. Never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something in the app.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use Dewy. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

4. Subscriptions (Dewy Pro)

Dewy offers an optional premium subscription, Dewy Pro, with the following plans:

  • Monthly — $9.99 / month.
  • Annual — $39.99 / year, with a 3-day free trial (the free trial is available on the annual plan only).

Subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. Key details:

  • Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Free trial. If you start the 3-day free trial, it automatically converts to a paid annual subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
  • Manage or cancel. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple App Store account settings. Deleting the app alone does not cancel your subscription.
  • Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase and on each renewal.
  • Pricing. Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region and over time. We process subscriptions with the help of RevenueCat and Apple.
  • Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple; refund requests are subject to Apple's policies.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose;
  • Upload photos of anyone other than yourself without their consent, or content you don't have the right to share;
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the Service or its security;
  • Attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, or misuse the AI features.

6. Your content & license

You retain ownership of the photos and information you provide ("Your Content"). You grant Dewy a limited, non-exclusive license to process Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you — for example, to generate your Skin Map, score, findings, and routine. We do not use Your Content to train AI models, and we do not use it for advertising. This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except for limited copies retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

The Service — including the Dewy name, logo, software, designs, text, and the Skin Map experience — is owned by Dewy or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that AI analysis or recommendations will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your individual skin, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Results vary from person to person.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dewy and its providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time via the in-app "Delete account & data" control. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Dewy operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer-protection rights that apply to you under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
